Whoopi Goldberg (nascida como Caryn Elaine Johnson, Nova Iorque, 13 de novembro de1955) é uma atriz, humorista, cantora e apresentadora americana.
Foi indicada ao Oscar de melhor atriz, pela sua interpretação dramática em 1986, no filmeThe Color Purple (1985), de Steven Spielberg, e ganhou, pela sua interpretação cômica em 1991, por Ghost (1990).
Seguiu, no cinema, um lado mais cômico como por exemplo em Sister Act, Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit e Corrina, Corrina. Apresentou, também, a cerimônia do Oscar quatro vezes.
